Stakeholder’s Workshop

The Bhutan InfoComm and Media Authority (Authority) organized a one day Workshop to discuss and finalize the Draft Rules on Places of Entertainment at Galling Resort, Paro on 27 May 2012.

The focal persons from the Dzongkhags, Dungkhags and Thromdes attended the stakeholder’s consultation workshop. The steps involved in coming up with the Draft Rules on Places of Entertainment and the legal basis for the consultation workshop was highlighted. The Workshop then deliberated extensively on the Draft Rules and made some substantial changes to it.

The Draft Rules will be circulated for public consultation and also posted in the Authority’s website www.bicma.gov.bt. All comments received will be incorporated before it is submitted to the Authority’s Board for approval.
