• In line with the Government Policy, BICMA is working towards licensing 2^nd Mobile Cellular Operator in the country.The first Investors' conference was held on 21^st June 2006 here in the Capital
• BICMA has licensed two Private newspaper service providers in the Country. Bhutan Times and the Bhutan Observer have started publishing their papers from 30^th April, 2006 and 2^ndJune, 2006 respectively.
• The National Television Program goes nationwide from February 2006.
