The Bhutan Infocomm and Media Authority is pleased to share the “Standards for Fixed and Mobile Broadband Quality of Services”. The standards is developed with the objectives:

  1. To create an environment for consumer satisfaction by making known the Quality of Services (QoS) standards which the service provider is required to provide and the user has a right to expect;

  2. To monitor and measure the QoS provided by the service providers from time to time and to compare them with the benchmarks so as to assess the level of their network performance;

  3. To promote competition among the service providers in order to ensure high-quality fixed and mobile broadband services.

These Standards shall apply to all Fixed and Mobile broadband service providers in the country for necessary compliance. Click here to view the document.
