Following the successful completion of program in Dagana dzongkhag, the team from Bhutan InfoComm and Media Authority(BICMA) has carried out the awareness program on Digitization of Cable Television Services (CATV), Installation of Ku Band dishes and its Rules and Regulations in Tsirang Dzongkhag yesterday.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The program covered the Importance of cable TV network digitization and Rules and Regulations on cable television services (CATV), sensitization on book registration and certification, filming permits, accreditation of both national and foreign journalists, regulation of harmful and inappropriate content on both online and offline media, Online Licensing System and Ku Band Dish, EMF,QoS, SIM.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The Authority would like to thank Dasho Dzongda, Dasho Dzongrab and the sector heads of Tsirang Dzongkhag for the support rendered.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Furthermore, the Authority is also grateful to the Gups and geog administration officials of Gosarling, Petshaling, Semjong, Barshong and Tsholingkhar geogs for their active participation.<\/span><\/div>\n
