The meeting was also attended by the Director and officials from the Department of Media, Creative Industry and Intellectual Property (DoMCIIP), MoICE. The primary objective centered around establishing a partnership with TikTok and\u00a0providing necessary guidance for facilitation and regulation of Bhutanese TikTok users. The officials were briefed on the safety features and community guidelines of TikTok and also explained the content moderation and reporting mechanism of TikTok. The TikTok officials have also highlighted the evolution of TikTok from an entertainment platform to a versatile tool that serves various purposes, including content creation, product promotion and contribution towards the digital economy.
