The awareness on digitization of cable service and other ICT related services was conducted successfully in Chhukha dzongkhag on 5th June 2023, with the objective of advocating relevant stakeholders on the digitization of cable television services, installation of Ku Band dishes and relevant rules and regulations guiding the license holders.
Moreover the participants were also made aware of the book registration and certification, filming permits and accreditation of both national and foreign journalists. Further, the topics such as sensitization on regulation of harmful and inappropriate content on both online and offline media and online licensing system were also covered in the presentation.
The Authority would like to thank the Dzongkhag ICT officer for the necessary arrangement made for the program. Likewise, we are also grateful to the officials from various Geogs and local cable operators of Chhukha dzongkhag for their active participation.
